Main Piston & Cap Service Kit
This kit allows you to service the main valving piston and bearing cap seal on Ryde FX 1.5" shocks. It is essential for restoring proper damping seal and preventing leaks at the bearing cap threads.
Kit Contents
- 1x Piston Ring, Valving (Fox 1.5" Bore, Step Cut)
- 1x O-Ring, Outer 1.5" Thread-in Bearing Cap
- 1x O-Ring (Standard)
- 1x IFP O-Ring (Ryde FX 1.5)
Restore Damping Efficiency
Over time, the Valving Piston Ring wears down, allowing oil to bypass the piston. This results in "fade" and loss of damping control. Additionally, the Outer Bearing Cap O-Ring can harden and leak.
The Ryde FX Kit addresses both issues. It includes the correct "Step Cut" Fox-style piston ring to seal the valving stack and the outer O-ring to seal the bearing cap assembly to the shock body.

- Fits: Ryde FX Rebuildable Shocks (1.5" Body) with Thread-In Bearing Caps.
Note: This is NOT a shaft seal kit. It is for the piston and body seal.
