KYB / HPG Nitrogen Pellet Valve Assembly - Needle Fill Style
Genuine replacement Nitrogen Pellet Valve for HPG and KYB shocks.
This valve uses a self-healing rubber pellet to seal the nitrogen charge, providing a reliable and compact seal often used on Ski-Doo snowmobile shocks.
Specs:
- Type: Nitrogen Pellet Valve (Needle Style)
- Fitment: HPG and KYB Shocks (Common on Ski-Doo)
- Material: Brass with O-Ring Seal
- Fill Method: Requires Nitrogen Needle Tool
OEM Replacement Nitrogen Valve
This brass valve assembly is the standard replacement for the nitrogen fill port on many HPG (High Pressure Gas) and KYB shocks. It is designed to thread into the reservoir or shock body to seal the nitrogen chamber.
Needle Fill System
Unlike a Schrader valve (tire stem style), this valve uses a compressed Rubber Pellet to hold pressure.
- How it works: You insert a Nitrogen Needle Tool through the center of the rubber pellet to fill the shock. When you pull the needle out, the rubber compresses and "self-heals" to seal the gas inside.
- Reliability: This system is preferred in extreme cold (snowmobiles) because it is less prone to leaking than Schrader valves in freezing temps.
Compatibility
- Ski-Doo: Fits most HPG and KYB shocks found on MXZ, Summit, Renegade, and other models.
- Yamaha / Arctic Cat: Fits select KYB shocks used on these platforms.
- Note: Requires a needle fill tool (like Motion Pro or Fox style) to service.
