Restore Your Nitrogen Valve

This retainer is the small cylindrical sleeve found inside the nitrogen fill port on many Fox 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series shocks. Its job is to hold the Rubber Sealing Pellet firmly in place against the nitrogen pressure.

When to Replace

• During Rebuilds: If the original retainer is damaged during removal (which often happens since it is a tight press-fit), you must replace it to ensure the new rubber pellet seals correctly.
• Leaking Valves: A bent or scored retainer can prevent the rubber pellet from seating, causing a slow nitrogen leak.
  
  

Compatibility

• Fox Performance Series Shocks: Fits shocks using the standard "Pellet Style" nitrogen fill (Needle Tool required).
• Note: This is the Retainer Only. It does not include the rubber pellet (Fox Part # 010-00-000-A), which typically needs to be purchased separately.
